| ASH HANDLING SYSTEMS |

Heavier Ash Particles and Clinkers formed in furnace fall down and are collected in Bottom Ash Hopper which may be Dry type or Wet type.In Dry Bottom type, ash falling down the boiler furnace is conveyed by continuously moving Scraper Chain Conveyor to Clinker Grinder for crushing which is conveyed to Slurry Sump through sloping trenches with help of High Pressure Water Jet. Bottom Ash is also conveyed through submerged belt conveyor installed below furnace for carrying to remote location through a series of Belt Conveyors. |
